Rolla woman charged with drug trafficking after four pounds of meth found in storage facility

According to a press release from the Phelp’s County Sheriff’s Department, the South Central Drug Task Force, the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department and the Rolla Police Department finished a short term narcotics investigation in Phelps County on Tuesday.

Officers executed search warrants of a storage facility and a residence in the 12000 block of County Road 7130.

The search warrants allowed officers to seize about four pounds of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Ruth Ann Smith, 51, of Rolla, was arrested and charged with first degree trafficking drugs and has a $100,000 cash only bond.
