Convicted murderer dies of natural causes at the Jefferson City Correctional Center

Officials with the Department of Corrections reported that inmate Calvin Hanson, 70, died on Monday.

Hanson was from Greene County and was serving a sentence of life with no parole for capital murder.

Hanson was entered into the Department of Corrections system in 1977.

Officials believe Hanson died of natural causes.
