Camden County man charged with spitting on officers and threatening to murder them

Camden County deputies arrested Samuel Dean on Friday for felony warrants out of Pulaski County.

According to the probable cause statement, Dean was uncooperative, yelling and cursing at deputies on scene.

Deputies said Dean attempted to spit at them in the patrol vehicle.

Dean was also accused of telling one officer that he would murder him and rape his son.

When Dean got out of the patrol vehicle, he head butted one officer in the face. Dean became combative again and had to be brought to the ground for restraint.

At one point during the altercation, Dean was accused of laughing and saying he was Hep C positive.

According to the probable cause statement, one officer broke his pinky during the incident and was told to follow up with a specialist because the type of break typically requires surgery.
