Man bonds out of jail after search warrant turns up more than 11 pounds of marijuana

A Boonville man has already bonded out of the Boone County jail after deputies say they executed a search warrant and found drugs.

A detective with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department says deputies executed the search warrant around 4:30pm Monday on North Maple Court.

They apparently found 11 1/3 pounds of marijuana there.

Deputies say they arrested Kelvon Dow on suspicion of drug charges. He was booked in jail around 8:30 Monday night, but has since bonded out.

Dow now faces possible charges of delivering a controlled substance, but formal charges are still pending.
