Police arrest man accused of choking woman, pushing teenager

Columbia police arrested Jaymes Horsley on Sunday afternoon after officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Elleta Boulevard in reference to a domestic assault.

Police said a woman entered a residence in the area and walked into the hallway when Horsley ran out of a room and pushed her into the bathroom.

Horsley was accused of choking the woman to the point where she became light headed.

A 15-year-old girl told officers she saw Horsley choke the woman. The teenager said she attempted to pull Horsley away, but he turned and grabbed her by the shoulders and pushed her away.

Horsley faces possible charges of domestic assault.
