Gloomy tonight into Sunday followed by thunderstorms and a chance of snow Monday

TONIGHT : We’ll continue to see mostly cloudy conditions throughout the evening with a chance of some patchy drizzle as well. Lows will be in the middle 40s. Winds will remain steady out of the south at 5-10mph

SUNDAY: You may wake up to some patchy morning fog early Sunday morning, but it will clear out by 10am as we may even see the sun make an appearance by lunch time. However, clouds will build back in by 5pm as our next storm system fast approaches the area which has the potential to spark a line of thunderstorms that will move west to east throughout the evening hours. It will be warm tomorrow with temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s across the region.

EXTENDED: We’ll watch the thunderstorms make their way out of the area by midnight, as breezier and cooler conditions take over. Our high temperatures for Monday will actually occur around midnight, as temperatures will slowly fall into the upper 30s by Monday afternoon. We’re also tracking the potential for light snow on Monday. Temperatures will be marginal in the middle 30s, so accumulations will be hard to come by. It will also be windy on Monday out of the WSW at 10-20mph, gusting to 30mph at times. Temperatures will return to above average by next week.
