Passing lane closed on Highway 63 after crews respond to multi-vehicle collision

Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 63 southbound on Wednesday morning.

According to public dispatch, more than 5 emergency units responded to the scene.

ABC17 crews on scene report that five vehicles were involved in the crash.

Boone County Joint Communications officials said the passing lane is closed and asked for drivers to avoid the area if possible.
