Hallsville woman accused of hitting and dragging child

Boone County deputies arrested Danielle Blankenship after officers responded to reports of abuse or neglect of a child.

According to the probable cause statement, Blankenship knowingly caused a child pain by striking her face and dragging her.

Blankenship was arrested and taken to the Boone County Jail.
