Couple accused of armed robbery at Hyvee also arrested on suspicion of stealing from Walmart

UPDATE 1/17: Perryman was charged with stealing.

According to the probable cause statement, Perryman has a history of stealing from several Walmart Superstores.

ORIGINAL STORY: A couple accused of armed robbery at a Hyvee parking lot is also accused of stealing from the Walmart Supercenter in the 3000 block of West Broadway.

Police said Robert Crowley and Lesa Perryman entered Walmart on Wednesday and selected multiple items. Crowley handed the items to Perryman and left the store, officers said.

Police said Perryman also left the store with the merchandise and did not pay for any of it.

Crowley and Perryman face possible charges of stealing.
