Columbia police arrest man accused of hiding stolen gun

Columbia police arrested Kevin Black on Saturday after officers performed a traffic stop with a car for an obscured temporary registration.

Police said they noticed Black, the driver, had his hand on a gun that was tucked between the driver’s seat and center console.

Officers said it was later determined the gun had been reported stolen by the St. Louis County’s Police Department.

Black was arrested and faces possible charges of stealing.
