Pettis County deputies look for man accused of pulling gun on another man, stealing his car

Pettis County deputies are looking for a man accused of robbery and armed criminal action.

According to the probable cause statement, a victim picked up Matthew Harris and an unknown female and drove them around the Sedalia area.

The victim told deputies that he stopped on George Town Road to use the bathroom roadside when Harris pulled a gun on him and told him to get out of the car.

Officers said the female got into the driver’s seat and they left the area.

Troopers found the victim’s car at an apartment complex where Harris was believed to be staying, but he was not found.

Deputies said they are looking for Harris and the female has not been identified.

Harris was charged with robbery, armed criminal action and stealing.
