Water main break causes Columbia Public Library to close Tuesday
UPDATE 5:25 pm: A spokesperson for the library said the part required to fix the water pipe arrived on Tuesday.
The library will open at regular hours Wednesday morning at 9.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Columbia Public Library at 100 W. Broadway is closed Tuesday because of a water main break, according to Mitzi St. John, public relations manager for the Daniel Boone Regional Library system.
St. John said repairs have started already, but did not say when the library should reopen.
The Ashland and Fulton library locations are open and the BookMobiles will make their scheduled visits, St. John said.
St. John said they will send out updates once they are available.
