Columbia man found with crack cocaine in Callaway County

A Columbia man has bonded out of jail after allegedly possessing crack cocaine near Stephens in Callaway County.

Sheriff deputies arrested Shaun Shannon, 43, just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

Deputies said Shannon and another person were walking in the roadway on Old Highway 40. Deputies said Shannon has crack cocaine on him.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to the Callaway County Jail where he later posted a $4,500 bail.
