Missouri Capitol Police arrest man accused of making a terroristic threat

Missouri Capitol Police arrested Jeffery O’Laughlin on Monday after he was accused of making a threat.

According to the probable cause statement, O’Laughlin made a threat to a man saying, “If it means blowing up buildings or coming in with an AR-15 then so be it.”

O’Laughlin is also accused of saying, “There would be blood in the streets.”

Police said when O’Laughlin was leaving the Professional Registration Building he said he was not making idle threats and that people better get ready.

According to the probable cause statement, O’Laughlin believes that multiple dentists in central Missouri and the Dental Board are involved in a plot by an extremist group to track his movements.

O’Laughlin was charged with making a terroristic threat.
