Suspected car thieves arrested in Fulton
Fulton police arrested two people accused of stealing a truck and a gun.
It started on Monday when a resident of the 900 block of South Business 54 reported that 29-year-old Katryna Miller stole their truck and a firearm.
Just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, Fulton police officers said they were called back to the home where Miller and 40-year-old Donald Hill had returned with the truck and firearm.
Police said when they arrived, Miller fled on foot and Hill was arrested on suspicion of first-degree tampering and stealing a firearm.
Hill was taken to the Callaway County Jail pending an $11,000 bond.
“Officers later received information about Miller returning to the victim’s residence,” said Fulton police. “Officers arrived on scene and she was taken into custody. Miller was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.”
Miller was arrested for stealing a motor vehicle, stealing a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Miller was released from the Callaway County Jail with no bond, however, she was also arrested for an outstanding Platte County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and a Clay County warrant for stealing a motor vehicle.
