Convicted sex offender in Miller County Jail after failing to register

A Miller County man has been charged with failing to comply with a sex offender registration.

Miller County deputies said they completed an investigation on Robert Mckie who is a registered sex offender and is required by law to register with the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Deputies said Mckie had been convicted of Statutory Sodomy in 1997 in Camden County. Mckie had also pleaded guilty in 2010 for failing to register as a sex offender in Ray County and again in 2014 in Clay County.

Mckie is currently in the Miller County Jail with a $25,000 bond.
