Sunrise Beach firefighters break their “run” record
The Sunrise Beach Fire Department announced on Monday that firefighters had broken their run record by six runs.
Firefighters said their units have responded to 749 runs with a previous record of 743.
A spokesperson for the fire department said with 20 days left in the month and an expectation for a large influx of people coming to the lake for the holidays, their run total for the year could increase significantly by the end of the year.
