Outside fire temporarily shuts down Creasy Springs and Brown School roads
UPDATE: Crews were able to clear out the area and reopen roads around 2:30 p.m.
The Boone County Fire and Sheriff’s departments could not determine a cause.
A red flag warning was in place throughout the day.
ORIGINAL: Emergency crews responded to Creasy Springs and Brown School Road on Monday afternoon for an outside fire.
According to public dispatch, more than five emergency crews responded to the area.
ABC 17 crews report that the road is currently blocked off.
ABC 17 has contacted the Columbia Fire Department to learn more about what caused the fire and if there was any damage reported.
