Apartment complex sustains minor damages after exterior fire

Columbia firefighters responded to Ash Street Place Apartments in the 100 block of Stadium Boulevard on Monday for reports of a structure fire.

Firefighters said they were able to contain the fire to the exterior of one of the buildings.

Firefighters said there were no injuries reported and $1,500 worth of damage.

The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
