The Jefferson City Police Department injury accident release says the crash occurred around 3:25 p.m. Friday in the 3600 block of U.S. 50 West, the highway near the Capital Mall.

The report says 43-year-old Tracey A. Tiethoff was driving in the left lane when his motorcycle veered to the left and into the median. Tiethoff was thrown off of the motorcycle after it tumbled in the median.
