Moberly man accused of threatening a man with a gun

A Moberly man has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon after a man claimed William Stufflebean threatened him with a gun.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim told officers that Stufflebean had convinced him to go for a ride. The victim said Stufflebean started talking about how his mom was upset.

Deputies said Stufflebean started talking about kidnapping and held up a revolver to the victim’s body.

The victim told authorities that he rolled out of the car.

Deputies said the victim was not hurt but visibly upset.
