A beautiful weekend ahead before a surge of cold air

THURSDAY: Plenty of sunshine is in the forecast all day long which will help temperatures to reach the mid to upper 50s by this afternoon. Winds will remain under 10 mph out of the northwest.

TONIGHT: It will be the coldest night of the week as temperatures drop into the upper 20s under clear skies with a slight breeze out of the northwest. Luckily, winds will calm by morning preventing much of a wind chill for the morning commute.

EXTENDED: Friday will be mild and dry with highs in the mid to upper 50s under sunny skies. The first weekend of December looks pleasant as temperatures warm back into the upper 50s Saturday to lower 60s Sunday. We’ll have sunny skies Saturday with some clouds moving in Sunday but it will stay dry. We’ll reach near 60 Monday with a chance of rain which will be followed by much cooler air for Tuesday. There is a colder weather pattern shaping up for next week and through the middle of December. Watch ABC17 news for the latest forecast and follow ABC17 Stormtrack on Twitter for updates.
