Suspects on the run after robbing business in central Columbia

The Columbia Police Department is looking for two suspects who robbed a business Tuesday night.

Officers were dispatched to Lend Nation on the Business Loop just after 6:20 p.m.

According to police, two black men entered the business, showed a handgun and demanded money.

Right after police arrived, they searched the area with K-9 units, but that search didn’t yield any results.

ABC 17 News spoke with a lieutenant on the scene who said the two men wore gloves, so the forensics team wasn’t able to pull fingerprints. They will continue to speak with witnesses and review surveillance video.
