Tracking increasing storm chances to end the week

TODAY: More warm temperatures are expected today, with highs reaching the upper 80s. Heat indexes could place feels-like temps in the mid 90s. Lots of sunshine among partly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day.

TONIGHT: Conditions remain calm tonight with overnight lows in the low 70s. Clouds are expected to increase with the approaching cold front.

EXTENDED: Storms are expected to fire off starting tomorrow, with several rounds expected through Friday. Wednesday afternoon and evening will provide the greatest chance for stronger storms, with damaging winds being the primary threat. While rain chances tend to taper Thursday evening, the potential for showers continues into Friday afternoon. The weekend continues to look dry, as temperatures increase towards the lower 90s.
