Court hearing for man charged with second-degree murder in bus crash

Editor’s note: This story originally aired Monday, November 15, 2017.

A judge could decide to change the venue for a driver accused in a crash that killed a Harrisburg school district teacher.

26-year-old Brandon Brill was charged with second-degree murder after investigators said he was involved in the crash that killed Brian Simpson back in September.

Brill is accused of driving without a license when he hit Simpson head-on.

On Monday, the judge questioned the defense team on how a change of venue would work, if granted.

Brill is expected to appear in court Nov. 22.
