Phelps County woman dies after falling from tree stand

Phelps County authorities said Mary Eaton, 45, died on Sunday after falling from a tree stand while hunting.

Eaton was found Sunday evening on U.S. Forest Service Land.

The Phelps County Coroner Andy Davis said Eaton had hunted in the county for the past several years.

The officials with the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department said there were no signs of foul play.
