Callaway County prosecutor continues to work with federal investigators in Carl DeBrodie case

The investigation into Carl DeBrodie’s death continues as Callaway County Prosecutor Chris Wilson and federal investigators work the case.

Wilson said they have determined as much as they could about how DeBrodie died, but details will not be released while the investigation is happening or until charges have been filed.

In April, Fulton police found DeBrodie’s body in a container filled with concrete inside of a storage unit after DeBrodie was reported missing days before.

Wilson said federal investigators are handling an investigation of potential fraud in the case.

Investigators and Wilson are meeting weekly, but have no timeline for wrapping up the investigation.
