Wright City man arrested after allegedly shooting a gun and possessing alcohol as a minor

Tanner Wisdom was arrested in High Hill on Sunday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon and purchase/attempt to purchase or possession of liquor by minor.

Wisdom was born in 1998 and is younger than 21.

Wisdom was allegedly at a bonfire when he got into a verbal altercation with the house owner. Deputies say he then got in the back seat of a car and as they drove by he fired six or seven rounds from a handgun into a ditch.

Police allegedly found Wisdom with the handgun and a bottle of whiskey and a pack of beer.

Deputies say his blood-alcohol content at the time was .155.

Wisdom has a bail hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday.
