Man accused of threatening fire official with a knife on Demaret
Boone County deputies arrested a man Sunday afternoon after he allegedly approached a county fire official in a threatening way with a knife.
Deputies arrested the man in the 700 block of Demaret Drive. A sergeant with the department tells ABC 17 News the fire official was in the area investigating an unrelated incident.
Deputies said they found two knifes on the man when they took him into custody.
The fire official was not hurt.
