Man charged with burglary accused of Pleasant Ridge Baptist break-in
UPDATE: According to the probable cause statement, the value of all the stolen items at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church was $20,000.
The value of the tractor trailer deputies also found was $4,000.
ORIGINAL STORY: Bryson Skinner was charged on Friday with burglary, stealing, property damage, and receiving stolen property.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department said the charges stem from two criminal investigations.
Deputies said on Oct. 13, a burglary was conducted at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
They said several items were stolen including a HVAC unit and numerous construction tools.
Deputies found several stolen items on Wednesday and arrested Skinner.
On Wednesday, deputies responded to another property on Hickory Hills Drive, where deputies found a stolen travel camper from Boone County.
It was determined that Skinner had brought the stolen trailer to the property, deputies said.
Skinner was previously arrested on Oct. 7 after a stealing investigation at a business in the 200 block of Jade Road.
Skinner is also accused of stealing in Jefferson City.
