Visitation, funeral scheduled for Sedalia junior high student

Visitation and funeral services have been scheduled for a Sedalia junior high student killed during a weekend ATV crash.

Artyom Perchak died Monday morning after the Saturday afternoon crash. The Missouri Highway Patrol says Perchak lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

The Sedalia School District 200 posted on Facebook the visitation will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. at World of Life Slavic Church at 3851 South Park Ave. in Sedalia. The service will end around 9 p.m. The burial is scheduled for 11 Friday morning at the Crown Hill Cemetery.

The district also said Perchak’s family wanted the thank the community for its prayers, love and support.
