Fulton police arrest two after early morning traffic stop

Fulton police officers said they were patrolling in the 900 block of East 9th Street and searching for a wanted person out of Callaway County just after 1 a.m. Monday.

Police said they spotted a person running from a vehicle that was parked illegally.

Officers made contact with Trent Parker, who had an active warrant out of Holts Summit for a misdemeanor possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Parker was arrested on suspicion of having a firearm as a convicted felon.

Police also say they made contact with the owner of the vehicle and passenger, Jennifer Graves, who was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled subject with the intent to distribute.

Both Parker and Graves were transported to the Callaway County Jail with a bond to be set Monday.
