Jefferson City man suffered severe injuries after Monday morning rollover crash
Jefferson City police responded to a rollover crash on Monday morning in the 2200 block of U.S. 50/63.
Police said a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound when traffic began to slow down.
Officers said the driver, Daniel Davis, applied his brakes and swerved to the left to avoid the slowing traffic.
Police said his truck entered the grass median and began sliding, striking a raised portion in the median, causing the truck to overturn.
Davis had severe injuries and his car had extensive damage.
Davis was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of his injuries.
