Cooper County Commission appoints interim clerk

The Cooper County Commission appointed Keat Catlett as the interim clerk due to the resignation of Darryl Kempf.

Catlett is retired from a worldwide corporation involved in the animal health industry where he held various sales leadership roles.

Catless brings business and management skills to the office of County Clerk.

The Commission said they are proud to appoint Catlett to Cooper County clerk and looks for him to “bring stability and integrity to the office.”

Catlett will be the interim clerk until Governor Eric Greitens makes an appointment to fulfill the term.
