12-year-old dies after ATV crash in Maries County
Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers responded to an ATV crash on County Road 317 in Maries County on Sunday morning.
Troopers said the crash happened when the 12-year-old driver failed to negotiate a curve.
The ATV traveled off the left side of the road, struck a fence post and overturned, troopers said.
Troopers said the boy was ejected from the ATV.
Troopers said he was pronounced dead by doctors at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center.
