Jefferson city man seriously injured when hit by truck

A Jefferson City man was walking across Missouri Boulevard Saturday morning when he was hit by a truck that was turning, police said.

Police said the pedestrian-involved-crash happened around 9:30 a.m near the intersection of Ohio Street and Missouri Boulevard.

Police said the crash happened as the driver, Craig Glover Jr., 23, of Jefferson City, was heading south on Ohio Street and turning left onto Missouri Boulevard.

Humphrey was taken from the scene to University Hospital with serious injuries.

Glover did not sustain any injuries.

The Jefferson City Police Department’s traffic unit is investigating the incident.
