One person in custody after armed robbery on Sanders Court in Boone County
UPDATE 4:12 P.M.: According to a press release, Boone County sheriff’s deputies arrested a suspect on Friday afternoon on suspicion of entering a home in the 100 block of Sanders Court and robbing two people at gunpoint.
Tramell L. Blocker, 39, of 1104 Madison Street, was taken into custody at his home.
Blocker was charged with first degree robbery, first degree burglary and armed criminal action.
The release says that deputies were told by a male, 19, and female, 18, that a man entered their residence with a handgun and stole a gaming system.
ORIGINAL STORY: One person has been taken into custody on Friday in connection with an armed robbery in the 100 block of Sanders Court.
The robbery was reported after 1 p.m.
The Boone County Sheriff’s department said that witnesses gave deputies a license plate number and they tracked it to Madison Street, where they took one person into custody.
