Jefferson City police arrested man wanted by the US Marshals Service

Jefferson City police arrested Isaac White, 24, for outstanding charges in St. Louis.

Police said on Thursday, members of the Community Action Team were notified of White in the area who was wanted by the United States Marshals Service for outstanding charges in St. Louis.

Police said White was was wanted for a felony warrant for assault with a firearm.

Police said when officers found a vehicle associated with White, they attempted a traffic stop and a pursuit began.

Officers said the chase began on Missouri Boulevard and ended in the 1000 block of Buena Vista, where White was taken into custody.

Police said White is facing additional charges of resisting arrest by fleeing.
