Additional charges added in case against Audrain County murder suspects

Two murder suspects have been charged with an additional four crimes, bringing the total number to seven.

Arline Diedrich and Richard Henry are charged with the murder of Leon Wilder. Wilder’s body was found on the side of a road in Audrain County in July. He had a gunshot wound and was last seen hours earlier at the Welcome Inn in Columbia.

Diedrich and Henry were originally charged with murder, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.

They have both been additionally charged with drug trafficking, robbery and abandonment of a corpse.

Diedrich’s seventh charge is tampering with physical evidence. Henry’s seventh charge is tampering with a witness.

A third suspect, Justin Traughber, charged in the murder pleaded guilty to drug and weapons charges in Boone County in August and was sentenced to seven years in prison.
