Miller County man arrested after being accused of threatening a man with his gun

The Miller County Sheriff’s Department arrested Ed Gladback after he was accused of unlawfully using a weapon.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim said he was driving down a gravel road when he passed Gladback walking.

Deputies said Gladback picked up a rock, threw it at him and yelled at him.

The victim told deputies he stopped his tractor and saw Gladback approaching him, and said that as Gladback walked towards the tractor, Gladback pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim.

Deputies said the victim pulled out his gun, got off the tractor, grabbed Gladback’s gun from him, and the two wrestled.

The victim told deputies he took the gun and left the scene.

Deputies said a witness saw a gun in Gladback’s holster and watched Gladback pull the gun out and point it at the victim.

The victim told deputies that he fears for his life when Gladback is around.

Gladback is charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
