Vehicle crash in construction zone in Camden leaves one dead
A 74-year-old man has died after a crash in Camden County on Tuesday.
A semi was stopped in a construction zone on US 54 near Sunny Slope Road when William Kaifer, of Camdenton, crashed into the back of the semi. Kaifer was driving a GMC Sierra.
Kaifer was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the semi suffered minor injuries.
This is the 34th fatality for Troop F this year.
