Tracking a dry, calm week ahead with plenty of sunshine

TONIGHT: After yesterday's storms, tonight looks to be calm and quiet. Skies will remain mostly clear, with temperatures dropping to the mid 60s overnight.

TOMORROW: Tomorrow brings another great day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 80s. A light breeze will keep things comfortable throughout the afternoon.

EXTENDED: Several dry, calm days lie ahead as high pressure takes over in the wake of this weeks thunderstorms, keeping the atmosphere stable over Mid-Missouri. Lots of sunshine lies ahead, and aside from the slight chance for a pop-up shower on Wednesday and Thursday, we'll be dry throughout the week. Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid to upper 80s, possibly reaching the lower 90s by next weekend, but low humidity will keep heat indexes from reaching extreme levels. It'll be a great week to get outside and enjoy the gorgeous weather.
