Lincoln University dorm rents AC unit

Officials with Lincoln University in Jefferson City are combating an issue with the air conditioning in one of their dorms.

Dawson Hall’s air conditioning has been experiencing intermittent outages. Facilities staff have just been repairing it, but they will now replace the full system over the winter months.

A rental unit is currently helping to keep the building cool, and it will remain in place through mid-October.

Misty Young, director of Office of University Relations, said the comfort of students is important to the university, and administrators are working to solve the issue as quickly as possible.
