Quiet weather this week, watching Harvey

TONIGHT: Skies will become mostly clear with patchy fog developing by morning as temperatures fall into the upper 50s to near 60. Winds will stay under 6 mph from the north.

TUESDAY: We’ll have another mild day for late-August as high temperatures only reach near 80 under partly cloudy skies. Winds will come in from the north up to 8 mph, keeping humidity low.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week features mostly sunny skies, with highs in the low to mid 80s and overnight lows in the lower 60s. Clouds and moisture from Harvey could move north into Missouri by Friday night and Saturday. It’s too early to tell exactly where Harvey will track, but there is a chance we could see some scattered showers from the decaying system mainly south of I-70 by Saturday. Temperatures will be seasonal by the weekend with highs in the mid 80s and nights in the lower 60s. Watch ABC17 News for the latest forecast and follow ABC17 Stormtrack on Twitter for updates.
