MO-TF 1 heading to small Texas town to begin area searches

The Missouri Task Force 1 left San Antonio, Texas Saturday evening for Robstown for its first assignment following the destruction of Hurricane Harvey.

Robstown is just west of Corpus Christi with a population of about 12,000 people.

The Task Force will report to the National Guard Facility Saturday night and will start wide area searches at daylight in the most affected areas.

MO-TF1 will also be joined by the Ohio Task Force 1 team.
