Former JCPS teacher gets teaching license revoked

A former Jefferson City Public Schools teacher has had his teaching license revoked by the State Board of Education following an incident in 2015.

According to official documents, Aaron De Sha reported himself to his principal in December of 2015 after a student was disrespectful with him. De Sha then pushed the student, who fell and hit his eye on the corner of a counter.

Immediately after the incident, De Sha was sent home. De Sha resigned from his position on Jan. 4, 2016.

De Sha had a license to teach elementary education from Dec. 10. 2009 to Dec. 10, 2108.
