Storm chances hold off through the first half of the work week

TODAY: It will be a cool start to the day as temperatures will be sitting in the 60s for the morning commute. Skies will be mostly sunny, with warmer temperatures, but still below average as daytime highs warm to near 80. There will be an easterly breeze up to 8 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies tonight will allow for another comfortable and cool night as low temperatures drop into the lower 60s. Winds through the night will be fairly calm, out of the east under 7 mph.

EXTENDED: The weather pattern will remain dry through the daytime hours on Wednesday as temperatures will continue to warm into the lower 80s with partly sunny skies. Wednesday evening storm chances are on the increase isolated west of HWY 63. Lows will drop into the mid 60s Wednesday night with an increasing chance of t-storms. The chance of showers and storms continues Thursday as a wave of low pressure moves through. High temperatures will stay near 80 Thursday, warming into the lower 80s Friday as we stay dry to end the work week. Heading into the weekend, we’ll pick up another chance of t-storms Saturday but will stay dry Sunday with high temperatures continuing near 80 and nights in the lower 60s.
