Dry Tuesday, with increasing storm chances by midweek

TODAY: It’s another beautiful afternoon across Mid-Missouri under mostly sunny skies. We’ll see temperatures warm into the lower 80s as we head through the day with winds out of the east up to 10 mph. Despite the pleasant afternoon, temperatures will still feel more like September, as highs will be nearly 8 degrees below average.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies tonight will allow for another comfortable and cool night as low temperatures drop into the upper 50s and lower 60s. Winds through the night will be out of the southeast under 10 mph.

EXTENDED: The weather pattern will remain dry through the daytime hours on Wednesday as temperatures will continue to warm into the lower 80s with partly sunny skies. Wednesday evening storm chances are on the increase isolated west of HWY 63. Lows will drop into the mid 60s Wednesday night with an increasing chance of t-storms. The chance of showers and storms continues Thursday as a wave of low pressure moves through. Up to .50″ of rain is possible along and west of Hwy 63 as we head through the day on Thursday. By Friday morning we’ll see most of the rain activity shift along and south of Hwy 50. No severe weather is expected with any of the storms we do see. Heading into the weekend, we’ll pick up another chance of t-storms Saturday but will stay dry Sunday with high temperatures continuing near 80 and nights in the lower 60s.
