Warming by mid-week, cooling with rain chances
TONIGHT: A few sprinkles or a light showers are possible mainly south of I-70 with skies remaining partly to mostly cloudy overnight. Any rain that falls will be light and under a tenth of an inch. Low temperatures will drop into the mid 60s with light winds.
TUESDAY: An early morning shower is possible south of I-70. We’ll have partly sunny skies with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s and light, variable winds. Spotty showers and t-storms are possible in the afternoon but will be very hit and miss.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 80s Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and a slight storm chance. Wednesday will be the warmest day of the week before another cold front moves in Thursday, bringing scattered showers and t-storms in the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the low to mid 80s Thursday but will cool into the upper 70s Friday with a northerly breeze and mostly sunny skies. Friday night will be unseasonably cool as we dip into the upper 50s. The mild weather will continue into the weekend as high temperatures only reach near 80.
