FFO Home break-in: Jefferson City police looking for robber

The Jefferson City Police Department is looking for a person who broke into an FFO Home store Saturday night.

Police responded to the furniture store around 9:45 p.m.

Police said they found a broken glass door, where they suspect the person entered the business.

A sergeant at the Jefferson City Police Department said several officers responded to the scene because two shifts of officers were on duty. He said the extra hands helped secure and search the area quicker.

The sergeant said a suspect is not in custody and officers are still investigating the break-in.

At this time, police are not releasing information about whether the robber stole anything.

The sergeant said the department has been receiving calls about the break-in because of a Facebook post in a Jefferson City community group.

He said anyone with information about the break-in should call the police department at 573-634-6400.
